Ovi Store.
Ovi Store is now open in all countries. This store can be accessed by web browser on the phone or desktop computer or the S60 Ovi Store application. I have tried all and I’m quite happy about them. I have also tries to buy applications and the experience was nice and streamlined. There are tabs like Recommended, Featured, Latest, Video & Audio, Games, Application and so on adn of cause you can filter by payed and free also. There are also categories like Entertainment, Business, Social Network, Utility ect.
I would like more applications in the store. Most of the stuff is wallpapers and videos, but many of the applications I’m use to are also there.
All in all the experiance was quite good after the first crash 😉 but Nokia quickly fixed this with adding more servers and soon the service was running smooth again.

Editorial – Ten Most Misused Words in MMOs – MMORPG.com.
This article points the 10 most misused words in the MMORPG game genre. Most of these words goes on the ‘outside’ of a MMORPG, like the development and status of a game and not much in-game and more technical misused words like lag, hack and nerf/overpower <=> balanced.
Eg. balance:
Most MMORPGs are builed upon algebra formulas in one way or another, even if not intended. These formulas are the goals to acheive for hardcore gamer in many cases. Because of this, there are alot of buzz when MMORPG developers/companies balance the systems to a more even way. This is mostly done because of 2 reasons: new features or balancing issues. There must be balance in a MMORPG to accommodate all players and to have more real fun. It must be more satisfying to beat someone when knowing the balance is even compaired to win when overpowered. There must be some pride in that, or does other hardcore MMORPG gamers out there not possess pride at all?
hint: MMO != MMORPG 😉

Social Networks In The Nokia N97 And More
The upcoming Nokia Flagship QWERTY phone has many nice features like all the N-series phones are known for. Some of the new features in this social-network model has some of the features already known from the Palm Pre, never the less has this feature in the N97 been known for months now so it does not seem as a copy/paste from Palm Pre. The contact-merge feature adds social-network-sevice-status direct to contacts like facebook, twitter, ovi, skype and google talk. This is good work Nokia, but please please upgrade the amount of ram to running apps. This would really smoothen the experience of the system. Also with many background running services to monitor all the cloud-services to update like e-mail, facebook-, twitter-, google-talk-, skype-, google latitude, friend view notifications + all the others. But we will see if it’s a big issue or not.

Buddycloud for Symbian
This app does many things right when it comes to geo-messeging and awareness. It’s more like twitter than Nokia’s friend view app, and it does not run in the background as I know of. This kind of app could be nice, we just need more commen structure interfaces to link all these geo-networks together.
